About Hot Breads
Located at 808 Newark Ave, Jersey City, NJ 07306, Hot Breads operates as an asian bakery serving Jersey City in New Jersey. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Hours at these spots often run into the evening, later than a typical coffee shop, and many stay open on weekends when demand is highest in Jersey City. Seasonal and limited-time drink or dessert flavors are common, so a shop's current menu can differ from what is posted online; checking recent photos or calling ahead helps. Some locations in New Jersey are dessert-only with no seating, meant for takeout, while others have cafe-style seating for staying a while. Straws for bubble tea are typically wide to accommodate the toppings, and are provided automatically unless you ask for a regular one. Loyalty apps and stamp cards are common at chain locations, and ordering ahead through an app can shorten a wait considerably at busy locations during peak after-school and after-dinner hours.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 12β10 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Hot Breads at (201) 418-9669; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, tablevo.org.
Its Google rating stands at 3.2 out of 5 from 537 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.
Jersey City is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Jersey City is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New Jersey's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

5 stars only for their Pani Puri station. Never had a more authentic street side pani puri experience in NJ. It's warm, with cut onions and multiple options of pani to choose from. I would go eat everyday if it were possible.

We visited this restaurant in New Jersey to try pani puri. Unfortunately, the experience wasnβt great. There was no proper line or system, and the staff seemed more interested in chatting with each other than paying attention to customers. The pani puri itself wasnβt up to the markβpuri broke easily, and the flavors tasted artificial, lacking that natural authenticity. Overall, we were disappointed.

Visited this morning, and it was a delightful experience! The vada pav was authentic and full of Mumbai flavors, while the dahi batata puri was refreshing with its chilled, flavorful dahi. The rabdi jalebi was creamy and perfectly crisp, making it a standout. The service setup was smooth, and the overall ambience added to the charm. A must-visit for anyone craving authentic Mumbai street food!

Food is great, plus I prefer the cake from here than red ribbon so give it try? I have been getting birthday cakes from here consistently for couple years now π They are busy so the service can be slow at times but totally worth the wait time. Atmosphere is what you would imagine indian square atmosphere to be like lol very jam packed when people, the game 3 stalls serving food inside the store so there are 2 different lines and it can get a bit chaotic. But again totally worth it in my opinion 10/10 ππ―

** Beware of party cake orders*** I had very really bad experience for the birthday cake I ordered. They didnβt pay back the additional amount charged when the order changed from German Black Forest to Butter scotch and most important is that they didnβt write the message given during the order and all this happened after paid full amount in advance. When we noticed the message and name is not written they told they are busy and cannot write and asked more time. This happened when we went there after half an hour of delivery time and after the phone confirmation that everything is ready. We left with no other option to use as it is at the last moment. Later when I called why this happened I got an irresponsible reply that someone else was at the counter and she cannot help and asked to come later when that person comes. Also cake was not good too.. more sugar syrup and TATE BAD. Really pathetic, I ignored the negative reviews and trusted these people and itβs my mistake. PLEASE BEWARE of their attitude towards customers, WORST EXPERIENCE, OVER CHARGING.. AVOID this place. Attached pictures and see how they delivered it!!
